[Transcription] I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had an adviser tell me…“One of the reasons I love this business is I can play golf (insert favorite hobby) whenever I want.”
Then I ask how often they would like to play golf…“I’d love to play three or four times a week.”
I’ll then ask how often they actually play…“Well, I get out there once or twice a month.”
Do you know what that means? Theses advisors don’t have the freedom they think they have.
They just occasionally play hooky.
But when you’re serious about moving to 50 million, 100 million, 250 million dollars and beyond in assets under management, you are working to a state of true personal freedom because your business doesn’t need you to operate.
Let me say that again. Escaping from the office is just playing hooky.
Being able to come and go as you please because your business can run without you is true freedom.
And that’s a big part of the roadmap for taking your business from where it is today to where you want it to be in the future.

Well, let me share an example of a client of mine. When we started working together a handful of years ago he was at about 70 million dollars in AUM. We rebuilt his business piece by piece working through the Encore system.
He saw really good growth most years. (One year things kind of flattened out.) Ultimately, he’s more than tripled his business over this period of time. In fact, when I talked to him just a couple of weeks ago (about midway through 2017), he told me he’s approaching 300 million dollars in assets under management.
He’s made it work.
One of the most exciting things about this to him is he has greater personal freedom. One of his biggest goals in all the time we’ve been working together is to be able to work less and have a business that will run without him.
This year he started working a four-day week, he does NOT work on Fridays.
He’s already taken three one-plus week vacations and has a couple of more planned. And it’s all because he followed this process. He built a strong foundation for his business, built a system that would allow it to elevate and grow.
And now it can run without him being there all of the time.
That’s true personal freedom and that’s what the Encore road map, the AUM250 system, is all about.
